Nene Valley Hop Stash is a series of heavily hopped pales, showcasing some of the brewery’s favourite and freshest hops. This current version has big additions of Sabro, Ekuanot and Azacca hops. These are added post fermentation to give big tropical / citrus / piney character while keeping a soft mouthfeel.
This is a naturally hazy beer, which is also suitable for vegans as stated on the label.
To achieve gluten levels of less than 20ppm in Nene Valley Hop Stash, the Brewery explain that all they do is brew the beer as they’ve always have done. But at the last stage they remove most of the gluten by adding a tiny amount of enzyme, little more than an egg-cup full, in five thousand pints. They have their GF beers regularly tested by accredited labs and the results show them to have less than 20ppm of gluten.
